Janet provides telehealth services for our Iowa City and Des Moines locations. She graduated with her BSN from Florida Atlantic University, her MSN from Keiser University, and her PHMP from Wilkes-Barre University, and has been practicing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner since 2016. Janet has a special interest in treating those with substance use disorders, focusing on relapse prevention and harm reduction through use of medication-assisted treatment. Other mental health areas of interest include mood, anxiety, eating, and personality disorders, OCD, and PTSD.
Jaycee joined CFR as a Group Counselor in August 2024 and is the current Case Manager/Coordinator at Bernie Lorenz Recovery halfway home for women.
She attended the Upper Iowa University and received her B.A. in Human Services in 2020, followed by her Master of Science in Organizational Management. Jaycee worked in Bernie Lorenz and Mecca Residential during her undergraduate studies. She has been involved in Young Women’s Resources Center, Coordinator of Domestic Violence Shelter, and Job Corps experience relating women and adverse communities.
Jaycee loves attending her grandson’s sporting events with her spouse. She also enjoys free time to read and playing with her three dogs.
Kodi joined CFR as a Group Counselor in October of 2024. He has spent most of his career creating change in the child welfare system utilizing his personal expertise along with his professional experience to provide a unique perspective on the work. He strives to effectively make an impact for families across the country but also in his community.
Kodi Attended Upper Iowa University Received his B.A. in Human Services. Kodi served as a facilitator for Breakthrough Series Collaborative, ToPs Certified, and a certified Family/Youth Team Decision Meeting Facilitator for the State of Iowa. Kodi is/was a member of the Iowa Cultural Equity Alliance, National Foster Care Youth & Alumni Policy Council, and has worked extensively with Foster Care Alumni of America to elevate the youth voice across multiple systems.
Most of his time is spent with his family but when there is time for himself, Kodi loves to coach youth football, watching football, working out, and enjoys playing video games competitively. And after a long day, he enjoys relaxing by little bonfire disconnecting from technology and enjoying the night sky.
Lisa Chapman joined CFR in January 2023 as a residential counselor in Des Moines. Lisa has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science in Psychology along with 7 years of experience in Substance Use Treatment and MAT programming.
Outside of CFR, Lisa has a business on the side where she does eyebrow microblading (she has a tattoo artist license!) In her spare time, she is an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and has been a season ticket holder for a few short years but attending games for years before. She is also a season ticket holder the Iowa Wolves G League Basketball team in Des Moines. She likes to spend time with her one and only grandchild who is 10 years old, as well as her entire family when she can.
