The next session of our STEPPS Group will begin on January 15, 2025 at our Ames office. If you or someone you know may be interested in this 24-week therapeutic program designed to help people experiencing symptoms of Borderline Personality Disorder, please give us a call at 515-232-3206 or talk with your provider if you are already a CFR client. All CFR outpatient offices will be closed on Thursday & Friday, November 28 & 29, 2024, for the Thanksgiving holiday.    Additionally, during the week of Thanksgiving, the evening IOP group in Iowa City will be held on Monday, November 25th from 5-8 PM and Tuesday, November 26th from 5-8 PM.    Please contact us at 866-801-0085 with any questions.

Our Ames office parking lot is being repaved, but we are still open and have accessible parking spaces for clients and visitors! Please enter through the MICA parking lot on SE 16th St. and park in the west section of the CFR parking lot. 

The walk-in hours for substance use evaluations at our Ames office will be changing soon. Beginning the week of September 23, 2024, walk-ins will be held in Ames on Tuesdays from 2 PM-6 PM, Thursdays from 11 AM-3 PM, and Fridays from 9 AM-1 PM. CFR and other local organizations are honoring International Overdose Awareness Day (August 31st) through several events across Ames, Fort Dodge, and Iowa City. The goal of this annual observance is to end overdose, remember without stigma those we have lost, and acknowledge the grief of loved ones left behind. Beginning the week of August 26, 2024, same day substance use evaluations will be added on Thursdays from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM, in addition to Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.   Begining on August 27, 2024, the evening EOP group will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00-8:00 PM.
